Future lift on stock 1994
I am hoping to gain a little ground clearance on my 94 XLT. I am currently running stock suspension and 235/75r15 tires. I hope to go to 31x10.5 or 32x11.50 on the stock rims. I plan on using the skyjacker aal and coil kit (or similar) and either rancho or the skyjacker 0-1.5" shocks. I'll...- Wyhunter1988

Sweet smell of coolant... And a puddle!
A shop in town will do a pressure/leak test for $45... I think I might let them to that... But first I'll look for the die and a uv light- might end up being cheaper:/)- Wyhunter1988

Sweet smell of coolant... And a puddle!
Another puddle... I parked it Sunday and didn't touch it until today. There was a small puddle on the ground under the passenger side corner of the radiator. Before starting the engine, I checked the radiator fill level and it was STILL under pressure! It spewed out all over! Temps ranges from...- Wyhunter1988

Rear Cargo Insulation Pad Replacement on 1994 Ex

The water leaked bad enough the carpet, the carpet padding, and the cardboard/foil insulation was soaked. I can reuse the padding and carpet, but the cardboard and foil layer was destroyed...- Wyhunter1988

Sweet smell of coolant... And a puddle!
Well, slight indication of leaking coolant on radiator tanks and possibly some moisture near the intake under the ignition coil on the passenger side.... No change in radiator or reservoir levels after 75 miles... Doesn't seem to be too serious at this time. Or I'll keep looking.- Wyhunter1988

Sweet smell of coolant... And a puddle!
Thanks! I let it cool down in the Garage- no further puddles. Slight seepage along the sides of the radiator and the lower left hose. I will look at the heater core and the heater control valve.- Wyhunter1988

Sweet smell of coolant... And a puddle!
I recently purchased a 1994 Ford Explorer (see signature for vehicle details). It appears to have a coolant leak. There is a sweet smell in the engine compartment but the exhaust does not smell of coolant. After running it today in our subzero weather, -10F, it left a 6 inch wide puddle of...- Wyhunter1988
