PS fluid and coolant questions
I would go with ps fluid, atf leaves a varnish on the parts in the rack. Also flushing is very good idea. BTW my brother rebuilds rack for a living.- axleman2

Steering rack leak. Rebuild or replace?
If the rack has fluid in the boot than you need to get it replaced. Stop leak will not solve the problem. I also wouldn't try and rebuild it yourself , as they can be very tweaky.- axleman2

Best SQ/SPL Sub
I've got a Crystal CMP10 and it has great SQ. As far as SPL, it isn't loud out side the truck , but it hits hard inside the truck.- axleman2

DSP
Sorry no pics. It took lots of trimming to get them both in. It took less than a hour to do. The only down side is the Tokyo cann't open, but for me that wasn't a problem because I still have 5 disc to work with.- axleman2

AWD Front Drive Shaft
You can get a new replacement drive shaft that gets ride of the cv joint and uses u-joints instead. It shouldn't be to much more than a rebuilt one. If you want i can check the price at work tomorrow.- axleman2

powerstroke diesel engine
Considering that it BARELY fits in the 94-97 full size truck, I doubt it. Not to mention that it weighs something like 1200 lbs. And like somebody else stated, you have to figure out what to do about axles, t case, tranny, front suspension, where to sit, etc. There has been mention over at...- axleman2

4WD Low Full Wheel Turn Pop
Sounds like you might have a bad axle. Check for busted boots. Bad outer cv joints make a popping sound when you turn.- axleman2

96 V8 Muffler Size
It does drone some but not much. At hwy speeds if you turn the radio up to about 10(stock jbl) you can barely hear it. That is unless you are hard on the pedal. Around town it isn't any louder than a mustang.- axleman2

Go with the dual in single out Flowmaster series 50. I just put one in mine 2 weeks ago and have been very pleased. It's a tight fix but the 3" sounds great.- axleman2

stealthbox
How much should the JL Audio stealthbox cost? Is it cheaper to get it or the vantage box and sub? Is it worth the money? I don't want to take up the cargo space with speakers.- axleman2
