Are the radiators for 4.0 and v8 explorer the same.on ebay there is a brand new radiator for a 1991-94 explorer is it the same as the ones used in the 1998 v8 explorer? thanks- CAROLINE

COOLING PROBLEMS
MY 4X4 RANGER RUNS AROUND 200 DEGREES DURING THE DAY.IS THAT TO HIGH.THE TRUCK IS LIFTED ABOUT 6" AND THE FAN SHROUD WAS CUT.IT HAS A CLUTCH FAN AND STOCK(SMALL)RADIATOR.THIS IS MY FIRST 4X4AND WAS HOPING SOME ONE COULD GIVE THE INFO ON THE PROPER WAY OF MODIFYING THE COOLING SYSTEM. transmission conversion OR NOT
I JUST BOUGHT A 1994 4.0 4X4 KING KAB RANGER .6" LIFT ON 35X12.5.THE TRANNY IS WEAK I THINK.WHEN YOU GO INTO FIFTH GEAR IT IS LIKE THERE IS NO GEAR .RPM REVS AND NO GO. I FIXED THE RINGS IN THE SHIFTER ALREADY.ALL THE OTHER GEARS WORK AND HOLD FINE.I HAVE ALWAYS HAD AUTOMATICS,CAN IT BE CHANGED...- CAROLINE
