Loud howl from brakes
TPLYNCH, Thanks for the quick reply... If I do figure out which wheel it's coming from, can I tell by just looking at the caliper and brake system whether or not the caliper pins are the problem? I guess what I'm asking is how would you go about checking what you suggested? Thanks, Alan- aturyan

Loud howl from brakes
Hi everyone, I have a '97 Sport, 4.0L SOHC. For a while now, I have been hearing a very loud piercing howl while braking. It's not the usual "brake dust" squeal, it is much, much louder. I believe it is coming from the rear, but it's really hard to tell with it being so loud. It only...- aturyan

Here's a question for anyone who might be able to help. I have a '97 Sport...my buddy has a '97 Eddie Bauer.
