Fuel pump causes engine knock?
Can a faulty fuel pump cause engine knock? My 93 Explorer, with 137K knocks something awful on accelleration and has no power. Dealer ran diagnostics and found that fuel pump pressure is 26 instead of 30psi. Wants to install new pump, $380.00 bucks. The pump in the car is only two years old...- peti
