Replacing Air Vent on a 2006
Does anyone know the P/N for the drivers side air vent on the 06 Explorer XLS? There is no Ford part number on the vent itself. Or does any third-party make replacement/custom vents? Both passenger and driver vents are identical and the driver's side just blows air at the window, it does not...- turilla

Beeping after engine started
Pull both wiring harnesses from the Airbag Control Module behind the passenger side kick panel. No power, no control signal, no sensors, no airbags, no beeping.- turilla

Beeping after engine started
The buzzer is integrated into the GEM so there is no way to just shut it off. The 5 sets of 5 beeps indicates a general SRS or Airbag fault, typically a voltage/ground fault or an open wiring fault. With or without the Airbag bulb in place the system will generate these beeps if a fault exists...- turilla

Beeping after engine started
I had a look at the module in mine again today and the connector you want to remove is the first connector, the one closest to the door. It's a little tricky to wrestle out, once you remove it you don't even have to start the engine, just turn the ignition ON and wait to see if the beeping...- turilla

Beeping after engine started
Airbag System Turns out it was faulty wiring setting an alarm code in the Airbag Module that was causing the beeping. The Airbag warning light bulb was blown so it never flashed along with the beeps. There was a problem with the wiring behind the dash, a pinched/damaged/frayed wire behind the...- turilla

Warrior Shackles with Hidden Hitch Round Tube Hitch
Update: Installed the shackles today and there is no contact between the shackles and the hitch even with the springs under full compression. Never hurts to have a little paranoia though. Thanks to everyone for the feedback, this is a great cheap mod and I'd recommend anyone thinking about doing...- turilla

Beeping after engine started
This is driving me nuts so any help is appreciated. A few seconds after I start the engine I get a series of 5 beeps (sounds same as Door Ajar beep but all doors are closed and Door Ajar light is out) that repeats itself 5 times. There is no Check Engine Light or other Warning Light when this...- turilla

Warrior Shackles with Hidden Hitch Round Tube Hitch
I have read the other threads but there seemed to be no definitive answer to this question. I have a 99 XLT with a Hidden Hitch Round Tube Class III Hitch, I want to install the Warrior WAR153 shackles but I'm worried about the clearance. Has anybody else this same setup that has encountered...- turilla
