94 Explorer XLT 4WD/2WD problems
Hi all, I threw the Explorer into 4WD a couple weeks ago to pull a car around the yard. Afterwards, I put it back into 2WD and drove home. I thought I heard some drivetrain noise, but didn't think much of it. Then, the other day, I went to drive it and it didn't seem to want to go into...- dubCanuck1

Brake upgrade options?
Yeah. I've heard the cross-drilled cracking story a few times, favouring the slotted rotors instead. Muchly appreciated.- dubCanuck1

Brake upgrade options?
Good to know. Any idea where I could get pricing on those brands of pad and rotors? The idea would be to got with new drums and pads in the rear and the upgrade in the front. I didn't think of the spring hardware, but thanks for that.- dubCanuck1

What do do to tighten up the steering?
Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely check into those. If the slop is in the gear box, isn't there a way to rebuild/refresh it?- dubCanuck1

What do do to tighten up the steering?
Hi all, The 94 Explorer XLT has got a fair amount of play in the wheel.....too much for my liking, considering I'm used to vehicles with Rack and Pinion. Is there something I can do to make the steering nice and crisp? Let me know. Thanks.- dubCanuck1

Brake upgrade options?
Hi all, Noticed the brakes on the 94 Explorer XLT are pretty much dead. I was wondering what would be an affordable upgrade to the existing brakes. Is there any benefit to going with stainless lines? Let me know. Thanks,- dubCanuck1
