Factory Amp?
I am getting a new cd player for my truck and was wondering if I will need to get the thing to make it work on a factory amp. (Sorry I have no clue what its called) So my question is pretty much does my 99' Ranger XLT have a factory amp Im gonna get a pioneer 5900 if that matters...- hamccall4

Exhaust for a 99' Ranger
More Help!!! Ok...I hope I don't sound like a complete noob but I have another question. I think my exhaust is single in /single out (stock) when getting a new exhaust do I have to get a single in /single out? Or can it be single in/dual out? Also...I have been listening to some sound clips...- hamccall4

Hmmm....just worried that the smaller 3.0 would sound alot different than the 4.0 Thanks for the post. Looks like a pick between the 40 series and the 50 series. More opinions are welcome.- hamccall4

After looking at the magnaflow exhaust and seeing prices, I am looking more into flowmaster...Listened to sound clips of them and the 60 series sounds to "riceish" I was wondering what series would be good for my lil 3.0l v6? My dad had a 99 explorer and had a 50 series but it was the 4l v6...- hamccall4

I was looking on e-bay and cam across an air intake system that fits a '99 ranger 3.0l (which is what I have) the only question I have is that since it isn't the Fipk system but just a k&n filter, will It be the same? Here's the link it anyone wants to...- hamccall4

Air Intake Am looking for a cold air intake for my 99' Ranger. Was wondering what you all thought was the best way to go. I was looking at a K&N 57 Series Fipk Generation II. Which is gonna cost me about $200-$220 (depending on finish) What should I do?- hamccall4

Exhaust for a 99' Ranger
I am gonna put a new exhaust on my Ranger and wanted to know what sounds best. I want something with a nice rich, bold sound, with a little roar. I def. don't want it to sound like a "Ricer"... I have the v6 3.0 if that helps.- hamccall4
