DAM 3" body lift!
3" body lift!!! Thanks for replying guys, so here's the dirty... I put in the a/m lift in and right away the steering wheel was binding. When I turned it, it was so bad I could release the wheel and the dam thing would stay in location. I tried calling performance but I can only leave so...- cdnpreyer

Steering extender for 3 inch body lift???
Thanks for the replies guys Jon thanks to you, I guess what I'll do is remove the extender and see if that works. I'm alittle concerned though. I would think the extender would be needed. Can you confirm you put a 3 inch body lift on your truck and opted not to use the extender (PA right?)...- cdnpreyer

I've had my '93 Explorer for about 6 years now. I finally opted for a body lift and decided 3 inches will do. Some friends and I did the lift but I ran into a huge problem with the steering extender.
