The same thing just happened to me SteveO2569, did you replace it yet and did it correct the problem? Scott, the recall does not apply to this part according to my dealer. The part is $85 canadian. Has anyone got a link to aldive or where they think instructions could be? Thanks.

Pin stripes I thought about doing it right off the lot when a friend with a 99 EB, same blue with tan mouldings had the stripes removed just after I picked mine up. In my opinion, it made it look too plain. Considering the stripes matched the tan interior and the mouldings are paint matched...
