Switching into 4h/4l, I hear a click coming from the dash, then a few seconds later I can hear it engage. Disengaging is the part that's scaring me. Kind of makes me wonder if something is on it's way out. Are there any common issues with these? It's an 01 Explorer Sport with 100k, all...- wizaugh

I'm looking into possibly buying an 01 Explorer. I just took it for a spin and I think there's something wrong with the 4wd system. Going into 4l or 4h, it takes about 10-15 seconds to engage. Going back to Drive from either of those positions takes about 30 seconds. The dealer swears...- wizaugh
