    Horrible 4x4 Noise (long)

    My X make a poping noise well it used to but now when I put it in 4x the front passenger side grinds as far as I can tell it's the auto hubs but I'm not sure as far as you guys without auto hubs I don't know what to think except maybe the t-case.

    High milage explorers?

    93 X 4x4 sport 243k Clutch (my fault, I don't like mud in the winter) Starter Great truck but I think the auto hubs need to be replaced now.

    Four wheel drive making "clunking" noise in 4x4 high!@#@$@$#@$#@PLEASE READ!!!!

    clunking in 4 high My 93 clunks when in 4 high well it used to and now one of the front hubs won't lock in forward but when I go there is no more clunking. Both hubs lock in reverse and work fine. In forward High or Low you can here the front right hub slip at least I think it is the hub got...
