Getting Shocked Everytime I Get Out
Happens to me in my Explorer and Excursion both which have cloth seats. Leather seats don't seem to bother me. A anti static trick is to mix a solution of 20 pts water to 1 part liquid fabric softner in a spray bottle. Lightly spray the seats and the carpet. I have done this and it...- crimbeaux

Light diodes on steering wheel
I had the same problem. I gave the steering wheel a little bump with the heel of my hand near the switch, (not too hard, but still pretty firm) and it has been working since. Might give it a try before you spend any money. Good Luck.- crimbeaux

How to install lights behind steering wheel guages?

Lightly spray it on, scrub with a nylon brush and then take a towel dipped in water and ring it out. Rub...- crimbeaux

Multi Function Switch Success...
I had the same buzzing symptom that has been reported here by others. Did a search and found the solution. Bought the part this afternoon and just put it on. Took less than an hour and that includes stopping to eat dinner. Works perfectly now. Thanks to everyone for the help.- crimbeaux

A/C turns hot on acceleration
Correct. I had a Crown Vic with the 4.6 and asked the dealer about this. They confirmed this.- crimbeaux

Sloppy susp, is it just old?
I just changed the original shocks on my 97 XLT with 153k miles. When the "push it down and see if it bounces" test was used, it passed with flying colors. However, the new ride indicates otherwise. With the instructions on this site, I changed them myself and it was fairly easy...- crimbeaux
