2020 Explorer
I guess I need to update my signature...picked up a '17 Escape 2.0 4WD. Much more practicle and it is only my 6yo and me so space is rarely an issue. We camp and road trip a lot so the MPG is much friendler to my bank account. Got a great deal too, only 1300 miles and in service for 6 mos so...- rockyrock

2020 Explorer
I traded in my '17 Explorer a few months ago and I miss it for the most part. As of now, I am planning to get a '20 as long as it has one thing the '17 didn't--a foot rest for my left foot. That drove me absolutely crazy, especially on longer trips. It sounds lame (to me) but if the '20 doesn't...- rockyrock

Snow Driving
I posted this in the wheels and tires section but that doesn't seem to be a good spot. I live in California, in snow/ice conditions the requirement is 4WD + snow tires or chains--it's black and white. I've considered buying snow tires and keeping them installed all winter. They would certainly...- rockyrock

Need winter/snow advice and potentially tires
Hey Brian, Have you executed your plan? How is it working out? I was debating chains or snow tires. We don't travel to the snow as often but it's a convenience issue for me. It seems easier to have the snow tires on 3-4 months a year...This could also help me stretch my stock tires out to the...- rockyrock

Need new tires - suggestions?
I was actually looking for tires this weekend, I have same stock tires as OP. In California when chains are required, you must actually have "snow" tires (not just M+S) in addition to 4WD to avoid chains. I had called the CalDOT several times that morning and was given the all clear each time. I...- rockyrock

Album or Podcast Artwork
This is a total first world problem here but is there any way to have the artwork prominently displayed instead of being a blurred background image? I have played around with the settings but didn't see anything. My daughter really likes seeing the artwork and I suppose I'd rather see the...- rockyrock
