I have my father in law's 94 xlt 4x4 with manual 5 sp xmission. 7 mos ago (17k miles ago) he had the clutch assembly, including pressure plate, clutch disc, t.o. bearing, pilot bearing, slave cyl all replaced, in addition to resurfacing the flywheel. The clutch itself seems fine. The...- Idontown1

Clutch Project for Newbie Thread
Posted seperately re my self-induced valve job project. Now for clutch: Father-in-law drives 94 XLT 4WD w/ 4.0 (apparently non OHC) w/ manual 5 speed tranny like a red-headed step child. Managed to get 209k miles on it (mucho road trips) Needs 4th clutch, 3rd one has lasted all of 20k...- Idontown1
