no 4x4, not motor
the main problem with the shift motor in the later year ex's is a small plastic spacer on the back of the large gear drive....it gets old and smashes or breaks....i just fixed mine last night using brians thread in this forum... i took it apart and sure enough the spacer was shattered....i...- Robman7835

Hella's blew relay, replaced now lights aren't as bright
The relay in itself doesnt power your lights. The relay just "switches" the power on comming from an existing location( most likely the battery). Sounds like a grounding problem....i had the same thing happen to my normal headlights, i just fixed the ground and they worked fine......just giving...- Robman7835

Outside Door Handle "Slack"

4x4 low light sometimes on??
every now and then my 4x4 low light come on, but its not fully lit....its dimmed....usually all i have to do is put it in 4x4low and take it back out and its gone..any suggestions?? Thanks Rob- Robman7835

thanks for all the help.... this may be a dumb question but im guessing that SUA stands for spring under axle....and SOA stands for spring over axle?? Right now im looking at buying a skyjacker 6" class 2 suspension kit. from what ive read they are the better of all the kits ive seen, and the price shows it. Removal -Fuel Sender Feed and Return Lines
I too had a hell of a time when i did the fuel pump/sending unit on my 93. i had the same little plastic tools that i got from autozone and they didnt seem to work at first but like someone else said just spray some rust catalyst on them and just keep playin with em'. i had a worse time getting...- Robman7835

High milage explorers?
i have a 93' Xlt with 111,300 miles and the only thing that it has needed replaced was the fuel pump(sending unit) -new plugs and wires- new shocks and door bushings. besides that it is in perfect running condition:D- Robman7835

What brand of lift??
After a couple of days i've finally decided to go with the 6" suspension lift instead of the body lift. But now i need to know wut brand is the best to buy....how much it will cost...and where to get it the cheapest. Body lift.. or suspension lift?????
I have a 93' explorer XLt and i'm about ready to lift it to the sky but i keep hearing diferen't stories about the body and suspension lifts. I'd like to go 3" maybe 4" but i need ur guy's help on which way to do it. Thanks alot for ur time!!:(- Robman7835
