    03 Explorer is light flashing and popping into 4th

    I have an 03 Explorer with 150,000 miles. The is light has started flashing and it is shifting hard between 3rd and 4th. I keep getting told it's the servo but when I researched it, the of servo works 1-2 and 4-5, while the other servo works 2-3. 3-4 is strictly clutches. Any help on repairs...

    03 2x4 to 4x4 trans swap

    Will the transmission out of a 4x4 explorer work in a 2x4 explorer. It looks like they are the same and the tail shafts are the same length but not sure if the tail housings can be swapped or if the trans will work electronically.

    Hello everyone. I have an 03 Explorer XLT 2x4 with the 4.0. For having over 150,000 miles it is in immaculate condition, except for the transmission.
