I have a 2001 Ford Explorer XLT. I was told it was all-wheel drive. How can I make sure that it is All-Wheel Drive. I am slipping in the snow and I have had four wheel vehicles before. How can I check with the Vin Number.
Does putting on bigger custom wheels damage your transmission and if so does the microtuner fix that problem by calibrating the computer ecu in the truck to recognize the bigger tires and also do you have to get the gear ratio changed. I have 20 inch chrome wheels on my vehicle.
