urgh, dammit
I was in San Francisco today and the weather was terrible in the morning. Lots of rain & really STRONG wind. Anyway, I parked my explorer and opened the door without really thinking about the wind since it was still early. The door SWANG open and it seems to have done some damage. There's two...- MadeInJapan

Changing Dash Color. ?
I've been wanting to replace the bulbs in cluster because of them burned out. so I finally got 3 pairs of Hiper 194 bulbs from autotoys.com today. I was thinking about getting PIAAs but I figured they wouldn't be worth the extra money like headlight bulbs. Hipers seem pretty well made. The glass...- MadeInJapan

Headlight hi/low beam problem
Thanks for your reply. I gave up on trying to fix it myself and took the explorer to a Ford dealer today. When I checked with the mechanic, He told me he was checking all the wires from engine bay fuse box. After 4 hours of waiting, service manager came up to me and said some sort of "module"...- MadeInJapan

Headlight hi/low beam problem
Just recently, the left headlight went out while I was driving, but high beam on the left still worked just fine, so I figured the low beam filament in the left headlight bulb burned out. I decided to replace them with new PIAA superwhites. After I replaced both bulbs and turned on the...- MadeInJapan

Humming sound up front, is it my bearings?
I had a similar problem in my 95 EB. I heard a humming noise whenever I let my foot off gas above 35mph and front tires were showing uneven wear. I took it to Ford, but they just told me my tires are causing the noise (Michelin MTX M/S). However, I installed brand new shocks recently because the...- MadeInJapan

Clear Corners FAQ
Just use any silver automobile spay paint you can find. Put the can in hot water for a few minutes to make sure you'll get a fine mist. Put on a very fine coat over the bulbs and let them dry before another coat. The paint should last as long just as long as the bulbs. I've done this myself...- MadeInJapan

Clear Corners FAQ
You can spray paint those amber bulbs with silver paint. Just do a coupe of light coats and you are set. They'll look silver from outside, but will light up orange.- MadeInJapan
