 Just bought a Powerdyne blower from him. The stuff was at my door as quickly as possible. And everything looked almost new! Great guy to deal with! http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=156694- pinellas50

91 v6 5spd to 98 mustang gt v8 5 spd ??
I just did a V8 conversion on my 92 Ranger. The majority of what I did will apply to your project as well. The 95 motor you are looking at will be a little bit easier in that the intake has the 45 degree bend which clears the air condition box. The one problem I can think of that you will...- pinellas50

Best of the best?
I would suggest a Keene Belle charger to tackle the job you are describing.- pinellas50

e303 cam
A chip could very well do it. I really don't know much about the computer in the X. I was just regurgitating what another said. You might get with the writer on the other site and see more about what he experienced. The E does make a good, flat torque curve which, to me, would seem ideal...- pinellas50

e303 cam
There is only one cam. You would not have to replace anything else other than the cam and all the gaskets for items you have to remove. Swapping cams is a rather big task though. As for the cam, someone over on Power Ranger Sports was talking about it in his Explorer. He was advising...- pinellas50

Aftermarket Temperature Gauge Sender
Are you sure you are looking at the sender for the guage and not the sensor for the computer. I don't know anything about the '03 but all the older stuff I am familiar with uses 2 different coolant temp sensors that are located in different areas. One is used by the guage and the other by the...- pinellas50

New 5.0L Headers are HERE!
Kind of off topic, but.....would a set of the Ranger V8 swap headers fit the Explorers? L&L sells a very nice set of long tubes for the Ranger that are extreme quality but a few hundred less than these. They aren't a direct bolt up so you would probably spend the money you saved on reworking...- pinellas50

Need pics and ideas on nitrous mounting
I'd like to here the outcome. My motor is basically a stock 5.0 Mustang motor with an Ecam. E7 heads. On the dyno, I used a 70hp tune. Hp went up almost exactly 70 but the torque went up about 120 ft lbs. It's quite a hit. I had it initially set for a 150 shot but that was just...- pinellas50

Electric Fans
1. Pretty easy. You can run the hold down rods through the radiator to hold the fan on. The preferred mehtod is using brackets though. 2. 15 at the most I would think 3. IMO at least 2300 cfm. The more the merrier on this one. 4. I have one and suggest it. Much better than the flex...- pinellas50

Need pics and ideas on nitrous mounting
Sorry bout the link. Thanks Xplorerkid. Mine isn't really stealth. It is a wet system. I mounted the solenoids where they are mainly so I could draw fuel from the shrader valve. The fuel rail is from an Ex. On a side note. With only a 70hp nitrous shot, torque went up a full 120 ft...- pinellas50
