Limted 94 Loses power when going Up hill!
I live in the sierra's and my 93 definately has a problem with hills. If i'm on a hill, sometimes I can hardly get it to take off and especially on the back roads (which are usually hillier ,hillyer what the heck, you know what I'm sayin') I just assumed it was a lack of power in general but, it...- XGRUNT

Tranny Slips when its cold
I have a 93 XLT 4x4 with about 166 k on it. I've had the tranny rebuilt about 60,000 ago. The problem is that it has started slipping when it is first started. It does Ok after it is driven for awhile then, after it sits (like while I'm at work) it acts the same way. The colder it is the worse...- XGRUNT

real size of bfg mt 32's
Does anybody know the "real" size of 32 x 11.5 (15) BFG Mud terrains? And does anybody know how they are on snow and ice compared to the BFG All terrains? I've got 31 x 10.5 BFG AT on my explorer but I need new tires for our Durango and am looking at options with no lift (it has 31x10.5...- XGRUNT

Question about 31" BFG's
I've got 31 10.5 BFG ATs on my 93 and I love them...Sand, snow, mud, road...great tire. Mine fit with no lift, a litlle rub when the truck is loaded and the wheel is locked, not enough to hurt anything though... They do fill the wheel well but not enough to lessen the off road ability. If...- XGRUNT

I was comin' home from work the other night when I started to smell a burnt rubber smell and heard a strange noise coming from the engine. being out in the middle of nowhere land, I went ahead and drove it home. When I got there I popped the hood and found that what I believe is the A/C...- XGRUNT

Snow Chains and 4wd
Living close to Tahoe, I see alot of snow. Everybody around here puts tires on the back only but to tell you the truth with the 4 wheel drive and BFG A/Ts I've not had to use mine all year. Your 4 wheel problem could be something easily (and cheaply) repaired. I'd have it looked at IMO. Also...- XGRUNT

What kind of shocks are people using?
I see alot of guys recommending the Rancho 5000's, How stiff are they? I use my truck for a daily driver over lots of curvy mountain roads most days and I do some light wheeling on the weekends (We do alot of sightseeing down washboard dirt roads also) I've been thinking about going with the...- XGRUNT

Difference in O2 Sensors?
Thanks Folks... Yes, I'm driving the 93. I'm not sure I'm replacing yet but I'm getting an occasional CEL and with 153,000 miles and original o2 sensors, that was my first though... No, I haven't had the code read yet. I live in the mountains and it seems to give me the CEL when I go down a...- XGRUNT

Hi Folks, First off, since I've never posted anything to the site, I'd like to say hello to everyone. I may be newly registered but, I've been reading your (collectively) advice on everything from tire selection to lifts and engine fixes. This is truely a great site. Now for the...- XGRUNT
