Cold start fixed !!!!!!!
I can't believe I put up with the cold start problem, and the chain rattle problem for three winters. I finally went to the Ford parts counter and bought the kit for TSB 00M12. Fuel Filter stuck
Same problem I had the same problem, and almost gave up. However, after I twisted the filter on the line several time it came right off. Hope it works for you.- nctrader77

Rear door problem in cold weather?
This may sound crazy, but when it is cold outside the rear hatch door or hatch glass will not open. I hear a clunk, like the solenoid activates, but it will not open. As soon as it gets warm; bingo no problem. Anybody have the same problem, or know where I should look. Not really sure...- nctrader77

Trouble with cold weather start
Currently my Explorer has a very difficult time idleing when it is cold. I find anything below about 45 degrees causes real problems. I have to baby the throttle to keep it running. I have looked at the idle air control solenoid, but sure how to tell if it is good. There is no real build-up...- nctrader77
