Keyless code pad?
Should be there. It's hard to see. I used a flashlight and a dental mirror. It was on the inner side of the module toward the front.- 01 Daily Driver

Do You Keep Track of Your Milage??
Just for laughs since the mileage seemed to suck so bad compared to Jeep Cherokee.- 01 Daily Driver

What's up with the MPG on my 98 XLT?
That's really the only way to know your actual MPG. Trying to guesstimate from the gauge isn't very reliable. I'm averaging 16.8 city driving in my 01 4.0 SOHC Sport. My old 4.0 Cherokee Sport averaged around 18 or so. My 5.7 litre Chevy does better than either at 20-21 in town with...- 01 Daily Driver

01 Sport vehicle specs?
I'm trying to find the curb weight and have found numbers on various sites from 2,900 pounds to 4,990 pounds. My guess is around 3,900 pounds. My Kwiklift can handle up to 5,000 and want to make sure it can handle the Sport. Same type of thing on the HP for the 4.0 SOHC. One article...- 01 Daily Driver

Should I buy a 1998 Exp Sport V6?
Re: Gas Mileage? I'd be overjoyed with 20 MPG. I'm getting 16.5 around town. My 4.0 L Cherokee with 170K miles got 18-20 in town.- 01 Daily Driver

Passenger supposed to slide forward when seat back released?
The seat is normally all the way back. Moves both directions when released using the front release. Just won't automatically move forward if you try to do it by moving the seat back forward and pushing. You wind up having to flip the seat back forward then using the front release bar to...- 01 Daily Driver

Passenger supposed to slide forward when seat back released?
Just bought an 01 Sport two weeks ago. Nice truck but it's a pain to get in and out of the rear seat. The owners manual says the passenger seat is supposed to slide forward when you release the seat back and push. it doesn't. My daughter's 03 Escape is the same way. Is there a trick...- 01 Daily Driver

Opinions Please!
Go with the Sport. I've driven Blazers and Cherokees for about the last 15 years or so. Looked at a Ford Lightning and a GTP. Decided the 2WD Lightning wouldn't make it as a daily driver in the winter and couldn't stand the thought of driving a car everyday. I wound up with a Black...- 01 Daily Driver
