    I'm sure that this question has been asked 100 times but........What trans and transfer case is needed for a V-8 swap? Also what is needed for the computer swap and is it possible to use the same wiring harness that is already with the truck.

    Uphill Issues (94 XLT)

    Make sure that your fuel pressure is up to speed. It could be a fuel pressure regulator or it could be a fuel pump that's wimping out. Get a fuel pressure gauge hooked up and make sure that the pressure is a steady 40# of pressure. You can rent one for free from Advance or Auto Zone.

    You have a vacuum leak. Start with looking at the brake booster hose. It also could be the brake booster it's self. You can always find a vacuum leak by adduing smoke to the vacuum system. I use one of my cigars but you tube a vacuum smoke test for other ways.
