    I have a 1998 F150 that I'm working on, it has a 4.2 motor and I'm trying to find a tranny for it and was wondering if a 1999 F150 with a 4.6 motor will work. Thanks for your reply.

    I was wondering if a transmission from a 1999 ford with a 4.6 V8 will work with a V6 4.2 motor. If not what year of truck and motor size will work for my truck, a 1998 with a 4.2 motor. Thanks in advance.
