My '00 has 44K Miles on it and this weekend I was driving around 80-90 for a good 10-15 minutes on it and my check engine light started flashing.... I stop and in reverse, drive, etc the expo almost lurches forward slowly and also makes a tapping sound on the passenger side of the engine...

it makes the noise when it hits the winodw but what you said makes sense... you wouldnt be able to open the rear window wo it being on the body... I just thought maybe It should be smoother so it doesnt hit and make a weird noice when it "parks itself" but i guess not haha

this is a stupid question but my rear window wiper thing sits a lil low & it is below the window even when its resting on the little plastic part... It hits when I wipe the rear windows & I think It should be a little higher... stupid question.. maybe someone knows what i mean haha... can anyone...

would the engine bay be the same between a 98 explorer and a 00 explorer both with the V8... I am curious if the ac and the pulleys & belts & all that stuff are the same.... thanks so much travis

only thing im kinda sketching on now is passing smog... i dont know if mac or kkm intakes are carb certifies? what about the headers? what about doing a chip & ****? smog SUCKS especially when you see dudes in some 1983 pile of crap pouring out white fumes & there stll driving it

has anyone heard of the metal intake tube getting real hot with the mac style intakes?

a dealership told me today that the 4.0 is actually a more reliable engne than the 5.0 & that the 5.0 only has like 10 more hp than the 5.0 #... any feedback?

ok so now that i know the edge stuff will work on a a arm 2wd expo...what year did they expos have leaf spring rears & the same front end as the edge? arent the new ones all diffrent?

so the 5.0 explorers come with a "4R70W" auto tranny? & 410 the 2wd front end will be the same as a ranger 2wd correct? not the 4wd...? sorry im just making 100% sure this will work as I dont want to have a "custom kit" build for this jumping up the costs any idea hp & torque specs on...
