Puff of smoke under hood on startup
Like I said it is just capped off, just take a minute to see if their is any tranny fluid build up in those vaccum lines the easy way to check is take off the line that goes to the brake booster and hold it down and see if anything drains out.- pcbytes

Easy it is just plugged off with a little rubber plug. On my explorer the Vaccum Diaphram valve was leaking and allowing tranny fluid into the vaccum lines this caused those plugs to swell and they then fall off easy the one you show that is missing was the first one to go for me also then...- pcbytes

EGR Sensor
Well our Canadian dollar is not as strong as the US money but I am sure the Ford dealer up here did not give any deals. As for the right EGR valve well according to the same dealer and a NAPA the only egr valve they could find had the holes.- pcbytes

I drilled a hole in a nickel and screwed it onto the egr valve to cover the hole. Works fur me...... I had same codes it was my DPFE wish I had found a cheaper one up here it cost me 179.00 plus GST.- pcbytes

Eingine wont kick down after start!!
I bought bad gas from a Husky station and had same kind of problems I did complain to Husky head office they just told me it was my fault I put in regular I should of bought premium. Husky sucks- pcbytes

Thanks Glacier991 I guess that explains it I must of put in a new and faulty Vaccum Diaphram I guess you never know? It is just a pain in the butt getting my arm up into this spot to change the part again. Maybe I can find someone with smaller arms. I wonder if I can get Ford to owe me a...- pcbytes

I have a 94 Explorer with an automatic transmission and my fluid level keeps going down and it is not leaking externally it is going throught the vacumm diaphram on the right side of the tranny and getting into the vacumm lines. Hello I have a 1994 Explorer with one dead auto hub so I am planning on changing to manual hubs. So I checked here and from what I can see a lot of you guys use Milemarker because they are all metal and chrome.
