Cool thaks! Found out that MSD does make a unit but is $450.00 canadian dollars and has a ton of features such as rev control etc. So I took off my K&N and ordered a new fipk kit for the Ex. cheers Andrew

Has anyone put a msd unit on there 97 or newer 4 lit explorer as im trying to find out what works as the price i was told was close to 500 and change as the ignition has three coils.

Hey anyone out there done a ring and pinion swap on there Ex. How hard is it and do you need a whole wack of special tools? I made a big mistake and put 33" on the truck and found out i have 327 gears. Cheers Andrew

noise from the front end I found out what the problem was i had to replace the lower ball joints, one of them had about have an inch of play. cheers Andrew

i have a 97 2dr sport 5 spd, the truck has 31s on it and when i drive in the city and go over bumps there is a rattle coming from the front end. i have looked at the front end and can find nothing loose. could it be the front wheel bearings? cheers Andrew Canada
