Anyone with subs who listen to punk or metal?
I would say get 8's or 10's made to run with a small sealed box. That will be the tighter punchy bass that you need.- slmmer09

When I called my cousin and told him what it was doing the first thing he said was "forward clutch pack" He worked...- slmmer09

I only drove it 20 mi after that, I took it down to the garage where my cousin did the rebuild. I don't know how long it would've lasted. He is a transmission man, so I'll ask him what he thinks tomorrow.- slmmer09

a4ld???????????? boat anchor????????
BTW, before this happened, I had no warning at all, no slipping nothing. I had just finished cleaning out the back and was going to pull it around to where I usually park it. I cranked it and new something wasn't right(engine not revving free). put it in reverse, wouldn't move at all. funny...- slmmer09

a4ld???????????? boat anchor????????
I had the EXACT thing happen 3 weeks ago, Rebuild time. It was the forward clutch pack burnt to a crisp. Smell your fluid, I'm sure it will have a burnt smell to it, I could even see a little grit on the dipstick.- slmmer09

Rechroming?
You probably won't get them done any cheaper even considering shipping. I haven't done a lot of car parts, but I have done a lot of bike parts. That sounds like a SUPER price for RE plating. Replating is usually 60-75% higher than doing the same part that's never been plated before. On another...- slmmer09

It says it's an early kit for 85-89. Are they all the same, or were changes made which would make this kit not work for 94? OK, found another auction of his for 90-95. That one is only $3 more.- slmmer09
