O2 sensor emulator for 4.0 OHV
Casper only supplies 1996 and newer simulators and they appear to be just post cat units probably for the reason mentioned in another post. There are several wiring schematics posted on other boards to build a pre-cat sim. JC Whitney does not carry these at least when I checked. I was...- lester

O2 sensor emulator for 4.0 OHV
Anybody tried the O2 sensor emulators that plug into the wiring harness in place of the O2 sensor? How well do these work on the street? Pro's and Con's of using these? Who makes these? Thanks.- lester

4.0 performance upgrades ... worth it?
When you say Superchips are not the hot setup can you be more specific? As with most chips I doubt I could return this. Whats so great about Apten? What will a larger MAS do for this unit? Hard to believe one of those $90 chrome pipes will improve performance that much over the stock...- lester

4.0 performance upgrades ... worth it?
Are performance upgrades for the 4.0 real? Specifically, the high dollar air intake and chips. The air intake re-routes the air from the cold air source infront of the radiator to the hot air source inside the engine compartment. Seems to defy logic that this would be of any positive...- lester

Problems buying Explorer tires
Would not be the first time I bought tires with just the rims in the back of my truck. Have not decided on tire size just yet. This is 2wd Sport at stock height. I was thinking a little less sidewall provided by a 60 series tire might reduce the side to side sway some. The 235x75x15's...- lester

Problems buying Explorer tires
Anybody had any problems trying to buy tires for an Explorer from any tire distributor? I have been trying to buy Plus 1 or Plus 2 tires for my Sport recently and nobody will sell me tires that are different than the original tire size, 235x75x15. I have tried online and in person. I have...- lester
