    Had to buy a new outer housing. Expensive but fixed it.

    2007 explorer ignition switch actuator rod

    My ignition locked and I got the lock cyl out, but the ignition switch actuator rod came out and I can't get in back in to where it will turn, Do you need power and the ignition switsh on to pull down the steering wheel lock? Any tricks will be appreciated. tia ross
