Spark plug disaster
Wow, this is truly turning into a disaster :o( I jacked up the right front a bit, pulled off the wheel well and have "better" access to the wires. But still no luck, the wires are really really stuck. That theory about the exhaust manifold melting the boots onto the plugs seems to make more...- Lenart

What Brand Plugs and Wires?
I'm putting AutoLite copper cores in today. I'm new to the Explorer but have always had bad experiences using plat plugs in my own car so I decided to go for non plats for the Explorer as well.- Lenart

Sticky fuel filter
How do you take the fuel filter off a 99 XLT 4.0L ? It has these socket looking things on both ends that seem to lock the fuel filter. All help is greatly appreciated.- Lenart

In fact it seems like the two nearest the passenger seat are straight impossible to get to. Is there a trick to getting this done? The wires are next to...- Lenart
