Deep Base Type Noise - Tires?

Welcome to the Forum D075407. The reason for putting foam in the tires is to reduce noise. It is designed to stop exactly what you are hearing when hitting bumps. Sounds like it isn't working. FYI, this is the first such thread linking it to the tires...

    bull bar addition causing issues.

This possibility was discussed several times when adding a front bull bar. The 'bar' blocks the radar unit for the forward collision warning and brake assist feature and the Adaptive Cruise Control. Other sensors may also be affected. If the default programmed settings for those warning are ON...

    Purge valve replacement part

I would imagine this site may also not have it if the dealers don't. Have you tried them? At least they have a phone number that you can call to check. https://parts.autonationfordwhitebearlake.com/oem-parts/ford-vapor-canister-purge-solenoid-bb5z9g271b This is a Canadian site as you can tell by...

    Towing without Tow Package

Welcome to the Forum. Your thread was merged with one on the same topic. With the factory tow package the Explorer is rated for 5000 lbs. Without it and an aftermarket tow hitch, it is 2000 lbs. The rating cannot be changed once it leaves the factory. Peter

    Problems with brand new explorer

I believe all pump nozzles in Canada have to be 'hand-held' while filling up. At least all the stations I've visited. This changed years ago. EDIT: Just found this article. I use Petro-Canada and haven't seen the locking device installed yet. Gas nozzle locking clips are coming back to some...

    SYNC 3.4 Most recent version?

What better way to test it? :D In any case, phasing it in was done with Sync 3. From an Internet Search. "The first vehicles to have the option of Ford's Sync 4 with this added parking and gas information capability will be the Mustang Mach-E, the 2021 F-150, and the two-door and four-door...

I've had mine for a year (Oct.31) and still have Travel Link active and I don't have a subscription for it. Just renewed my Sirius/XM music for another year though. With my previous vehicles, the Travel Link was just active once in a while for a week or so. It looks like things have changed as...

    SYNC 3.4 Most recent version?

In 2016, there were a few Ford products that received Sync 3 before the Explorer did in 2017. Ford seems to like to phase these things in which may be a good idea if there are problems found in the product. Peter

I haven't noticed any indication of traffic issues but then I very seldom wander into the city and 99% of the time I'm on the Home screen that only shows nav on 1/2 of the screen. I did notice that the weather displayed is for Ottawa/Kanata. The odd time when it was active on my 2017, the...

    Hood Paint bubble issue only

Hey Chris. The hood is covered for 5 years, unlimited mileage. It is written in the Warranty Guide. Perhaps you should show them that if you aren't going to another dealer. Cooled heated seat not working

Welcome to the Forum. As for the member you quoted, that was the last post made. Hasn't been active since November 23, 2018. Seeing as it appears that the fuse is for both seats, it could be a wiring/connection issue. Peter
