body roll with body lift and sas

well i got a frame height warning and a bumper height ticket today as well as a window tint warning. That helped make up the decision to drop the body lift

body roll with body lift and sas

i'm running 35's. I love the height, but i don't see any clearance problems if i lost the body lift, other than the caster alignment. I'll have to move the radius arms foward a little so the wheel doesn't hit the fender when it flexes. No big deal since i'm going to install extended radius arms...

body roll with body lift and sas

well i figured since broncos have quad shocks up front, why wouldn't you need them with a v8 explorer? i figured it would help with stability onroad.

body roll with body lift and sas

well yeah, the body lift removal will most definitally lower the cog, but is it worth the trouble, will the gain in stability be significantly noticable?

body roll with body lift and sas

hey everyone. I have a 3" body lift on my 97 sport with a hpd44 and about 10" of suspension lift. I have a lot instability on the road going on. I have a rear sway bar and soon to have a front one. I plan on running quad shocks up front as well. Would it be worth taking my body lift off to...

hatched91 going from leafs to coils

hey i've got a question. i'm about ready to design some homemade radius arm drop brackets. Should the radius arms be as level as possible? Is the caster alignment the reason people drop them level?

pucks? are you going to use hockey pucks? i did mine in my gravel driveway on my old explorer, i just used cyinder blocks and a piece of plywood for the jack to sit on. your body doesn't weigh that much so you can jack it up pretty easily. if you have the determination, you'll get it done. a...

ttb knuckles on solid axle d44

is that a joke or do you not really need the C clips? i can get some waggy shafts, but it will cost me quite a penny, the only local boneyard that has it is pretty pricey.

ttb knuckles on solid axle d44

hi everyone. I ended up swapping from a '80 wagoneer 6 bolt to a dana44 out of a '78 bronco and i had to swap out the knuckles for 6 bolt wheels to line up. the only problem is that the outer axle shafts don't seem to be quite long enough to get the C clips on. (i got the last solid front...

    97 sport

thanks for the welcome but i've been here for about 2 years now haha. -the original pic was 3" PA body lift and 2" shackles with TT. anyone who can turn a wrench and visit this forum can install a body lift! it's very easy and if you have any questions, fell free to ask. just watch the...

how do you get in that thing?

Has anyone ever had a dumb hoosier say, "How do you get into that thing?". I have about 2-3 people per day:eek: say that to me! i have around 12" lift and 35's on my explorer. it isn't difficult to get into, but you do have to hop into it. It has to be the most annoying thing i have ever dealt...

    show off your LIFTED truck

mynameisaric: it isn't too bad around corners. i don't have the gears up front yet so i havn't taken it on the trails. i don't see why it would be any different if i had 3" more suspension lift as opposed to the body lift. i am going to leave the body lift on simply for the fact of working on...

    Yota Tow Hooks?

yeah, as long as they are bolted in securely and in a way that the tow rope/chain doesn't slide off, you're good to go. just fyi they are only about $15/pair brand new and come with bolts.

    hatched91 4.0 5spd to v8

yeah i had to run an IFS box because it was the only steering gear box that mounted to the outside of the framerail and the pitman arm pointed backwards to be parallel with the tierod. i had to have sky-manufacturing make a custom billet pitman arm reamed for the chevy draglink TRE which i got...
