Plasti-dipped my wheels
This is really cool....looks pretty much void of orange-peel. How tough is this stuff? Meaning, how well does it hold up? Also, does it come in silver?- dbreen3

How many MPG do you get?
My 2009 2wd, 4.0L is averaging 17.5 mpg with a mix of 50/50 hwy and city. I can get up to 23 mpg on flat fwy doing about 65mph. But I would guess I get around 14mpg in the city :( Seems to me that the V8 doesn not penalize you any further than the V6, with the exception of the spark plug...- dbreen3

try www.car-parts.com It is a national directory of salvage yards....mine wasn't one where they let me pull it, so I am at the disadvantage of not knowing how it came apart....but that's why this thread is useful... I also drove 200 miles round trip to get mine....- dbreen3

06 5r55s Trans
Sounds like you are low on fluid. Typically failure to maintain gear position is a lack of fluid. Once your fluid has expanded due to the heat of operation it is hitting the required level to hold your gear. I would have the dealer or trans shop check the fluid level at the specified temp.- dbreen3
