Oh, and another tip for when you hook the tranny lines back up to the new radiator, the OEM one has integrated metal clips that hold the coupling together. The aftermarket clips are plastic. There are 4 tabs on the clip: two that hold the clip into the coupling and two that hold the connection...

I lost about 1/4 of a quart of fluid, so no worries there. I have the 4.0 V6. Here is a pic of my old OEM radiator. You can see it was leaking near the inlet side.

I bought an aftermarket radiator from O'Reilly's and it came with both sets of fittings. The part number is 434079. If you browse by year model, it doesn't come up for 2006, only 2007, but it does fit the 2006. I installed it yesterday in about 3 hrs total. Really not a bad job at all. Pic...

It looks like the only difference between those two pics are, one has the quick disconnects and the other one doesnt. To clarify, both use the QDs, one just isn't showing them.

Has anyone had problems after the TSB has been performed? A couple Ford tech buddies say it fixes the problem for good. One of them is going to flash my computer and I'm ordering the updated radiator in a few days.

Is the radiator an OEM Ford replacement or aftermarket? Mine is leaking as well with 60,x.. on it.

Pics as promised. To remove the storage cover and trim, remove all the screws under the lid (6 total) and the two push clips in the rear side cupholders. I removed the bracket that holds the spare tire tools and the nuts and bolts on the seat brackets in the middle and on the sides...

First post here, going thru the same thing on my 2006 Limited. I have some pics that I'll post in a bit. I assume no one has converted to XLT manual stuff? EDIT: Never mind, the XLT seats themselves are different and have the latches built into the seat back.
