What I meant was that one of the doors makes the "door ajar" light illuminate.But if I thumb wheel the courtesy lights off The light goes out.This Explorer is the Limited version and as such it has courtesy lights at the ends of the running boards as well as courtesy lights under the mirrors...- Billetpete

Can a faulty door latch discharge the battery even if I have turned off all interior and exterior lights by thumb wheeling the dimmer to the off position ?- Billetpete
