Warm AC: 50psi on low, Darth Vader woosh.
Thanks (I wasn't about to charge it up yet, but I appreciate the warning :)). WHEN my wife revved it to about 1500 to 1750 rpm: Pressures changed with rpm LOW side down to 32.5 (from about 50 at idle) HI side up to 250 (from 200 at idle) If you let off gas, pressures would shift back to the...- Merconium

Warm AC: 50psi on low, Darth Vader woosh.
We bought new; it is at 64,740 mi and has never had any sort of AC service. Since I don't have a recovery machine, I'm keeping the prospect of taking it to a shop as something of a last resort. I know weight is the only way to know, but I also know none of this is sudden. The cooling has been...- Merconium

Warm AC: 50psi on low, Darth Vader woosh.
Hey all, As in the title, I'm hoping some of you can shed light on what might be going on. I figured it was time for a recharge, based on the linear decline in performance and the new Darth Vader sound [in the cabin, sounds like a whoosh or like Vader breathing]. I bought an AC Pro can with...- Merconium

Shift to Park Warning
This is a solid fix (with a few addenda), and one you can do simply by unclipping some parts and removing one bolt. 1) Gently pull driver and passenger side panels away from the top edge, from just behind the armrest latch up to just past where the center console meets. The point is to free the...- Merconium

Add Button Panel & Repurpose Power Liftgate/Tow/Parking Assist Buttons
A quick note to anyone led here by a search: the LED under my Park Assist button has gone out, which sent me looking for answers. The three-button assembly (liftgate, tow, parking) is part BB5Z-13D730-AA, about $15 to 17 shipped.- Merconium

V3.10 and Active Park Assist
So those with Active Park Assist have the active guidelines (which I want) but can't choose fixed (which I don't care to do) if they move to V3.10?- Merconium

Material quality is garbage and the reason I won't be going with a 2014 Explorer
I'm really glad to hear this all worked out for you. As someone planning to keep his Ex for 10-15 years, it's good to see Ford stand behind some of these issues that are small to them but important to owner.- Merconium

What should I pay for a Limited?
I'm in DE and Koons (Sterling) and Ted Britt (Chantilly) annihilated every other dealer with a 302a Limited (Black or Tri-Whi-Plat) in PA, DE, NJ, MD, and NoVA. Ultimately, Ted Britt was willing to eat $500 more just to beat Koons. This was the last day before the end of the first quarter ;)...- Merconium
