98-01 Explorer auto headlamp sensor adjustment
Bump. Looked in the owners manual, the Ford FSM, have trolled the interwebz and here for 2+ hours. I can post a pic if there is someone who can use it to help with the procedure. :)- CowboyBilly9Mile

The dash sensor is used on 2002+ models. Serious, there is a way to calibrate the 98-01, the trick is in the sequence of events, sort of like programming a new PATS key. Hello everyone first post here from a long time lurker. :) I've got an 04 Ranger FX4 Level II that I've had for about 11 years, and I've retrofitted it with the auto dim, auto headlamp mirror from a 98-01ish Explorer.
