I need to know what the main bearing oil clearance is and what the rod bearing oil clearance is. My haynes manual say that i have to use new rod bolts, is this correct.

If anyone has a kit that they would like to sell please let me know.

No I don't have that kit OTC 6488 but I guess I'll have to get to do this job

01 explorer 4.0 sohc i need to replace the the head gasket on the passenger side head, don't want to pull engine just for a head gasket but have my reservations with the timing chain at the back of the head.

01 4.0 sohc bad head gasket Can i pull the right head (pass side) without pulling engine? And if so does anyone have any good procedures for the job, thank you. I have not worked on an engine like this before.
