Had same issue change out the shock actuator on drivers side easy fix have to pop off interior trim on inside to get to connecting harness and then the shock pops off careful tailgate will drop down when you remove shock

So my 14 sport is in right now for this apim issue we didn't see the lock up, but we had issues with the dash losing communication with the radio and climate controls would put it in a like a limp mode radio wouldn't work and the heat would be blasting hot, and my power liftgate wouldn't work...

I have a 2014 sport with the 401a package, issue we see just in the last week is to use the unlock button you have to be almost right by the door? the lock works fine and remote start works, it seems like the unlock button is messed up? Now I did have issues with the rear power liftgate...

bought a new actuator 220 from sunset ford in cali free shipping cheapest I found works great not no weird binding noise one thing one it closed before it seemed to get to the latch and like pull it tighter? This new one just pulls it down but everything runs good so?

yeah it was all goofy but once I stopped opened with the key fob closed it disabled it everything was good? I thought maybe battery in key fob? I have it disabled till I can get the actuator installed. Waiting to hear if my extended warranty will cover it since it does work 9 out of 10 times?
