I was asked to report back on the progress of this issue with my local dealer. Well, it is disappointing so far. Well said. I won't be looking the other way. I made a complain to Ford regional office, and they had the local dealer to contact me and ask me to come over on Monday so they can check it out. We will see how it goes.- musaafer

yup probably you are right. the Torus I tried didn't have myford; just regular standard radio. I will email customer service and see if they got a fix for this.- musaafer

Omar, you just described the problem. this is actually the issue. it shouldn't behave like this. other models work fine. I tried it on a Torus for example, it works fine as it should be and as described in the manual.- musaafer
