Water pump failure leads to dead engine
From all the info I have gathered Ford hasn't done anything to fix this issue. I've spoken to a couple Ford dealerships where I live and their not even aware of this problem. The law firm that I talked to said that Ford hasn't acknowledged any issues about these water pumps destroying engines...- Dhunt

My 2008 Lincoln MKX with just over 100,000 miles became another victim of the water pump issue. No signs of leaking or anything that would make me think that my engine was going to seize.
