how well would this work for 5spd 2wd.. im needing one for my conversion I know i would have to get a different rear driveshaft. but it should work out right?

hello all, I have a 95 2wd 4.0 OHV with the 5spd in it. got a HP 44 that i am rebuilding for this little project of mine but am wondering what TC should i be lookin for here? i did a search but to no avail.... i would like it to be a manual shift without havin to switch the TC to that...

yeah i would say to move that axle back a little, im no professional but that much angle when under a load would make me a litttle weary too.

oh yeah that is what im talking about. the sparks are flying now... im workin on my 95 2wd conversion. i rolled the vehicle a year ago and finally in a position to start the tear down. stoked!

what kind of tires do u have when your at the track? thats a pretty damn good 60ft time.

from my experience underdrive pullies are worth the money. i have a set of UPR underdrives on my stang and i felt a little gain by the seat of my pants. but it seems like the motor revs a little quicker too.

well first off u should do a search. dont know if u did that or not. but i got 3 inches out of it by blocking it in the rear and slamming the torsion bars all the way down. i dont know if u could really do alot of slamming with the 4x4 without throwin your CV axles into a really bad angle.

i just got off the shitter and was looking for the shifter. i guess they dont carry it or its not listed. ill have to contact hurst about it. that does look good in your truck man.

are there any x's that came with 31 spline axles so i could equip this trac loc?

i have the new jegs magazine but i didnt see anything in there that applies to the X.

sry about the bad description i meant trac loc. rather tall?? i have 3.27's with an open diff. they suck. but i have the factory trac loc and 3 55's outta my stang. thought maybe i could fit it in there. but the splines are different count so i guess its a no go unless i get a rear end out of a...

ok i have a mustang true loc LS with 3.55 gears. will this work in my rear end? are the axles the same and can hold up? also. are there any nice short throw shifters out there for the 5 spd??? doesnt even need to be short throw but i hate that bulky stick and knob. TIA

3.27 open baby!!!!!!! god i hate these gears. well maybe not the gears but the open diff sucks. i should just take my trac loc outta the stang since its just sittin in my garage.

thats a 5x4.5 lug pattern as far as i know they will fit fine if its not lowered.

oh yeah i just set it up with a basic cantilever in the rear and bags up front with 2 inch drop spindles. the paint is what i focused on as the show stopper.

well u would want to put the power on a fuseable wire. personally i wouldnt run it straight off the battery
