Alright it’s worth a shot. An update, my reverse, turn signals still function. But my brake light/hazards fuse keeps popping. Sometimes quicker than others, but never instantly
Yes it had three wires, I figured it doesn’t need a ground because the negative the wire is spliced into the factory ground, I believe. I could always ground the third wire or simply splice the third wire into the negative. That’s what my brother did for his trailer brake lights, and they’ve...
Thanks for the response, I re-did the trailer wiring, trucks been going good for about a day now. But I’m not getting my hopes up as this is the fix. If it doesn’t get fixed than I will check out the computer wiring, thanks!
All turn signals were affected when it stopped working. I wired them straight to the other wiring. I had issues with my reverse prior, so I cut the bulb sockets and just wired straight to the reverse. The reverse wiring is good and clean and the correct amount of voltage. It has a third wire for...
long story and I’m lost at this point. So about a month ago, my right rear turn signal wasn’t functioning. I figure it’s just the bulb and replace it. Still does the same thing, solid glow instead of blinking. It didn’t blink in the hazards as well. After a couple it days it was functioning...
My 93 Explorer has always leaked transmission fluid. Not sure what gasket or seal it is but it’s between the engine and transmission. This week I took it to the dunes, it was really fun the explorers drove great! And one part in the sand it was a bit deeper and I tried to get out. My brother...
I removed the rocker panels on my 93 explorer, and filled the holes with clips which I glued and body matched, looks great. But the bottom part that once held in the rockers is ruining the look and making it not look as high. I know the front it’s bolting on the fender but the rest of the body...
Your explorer looks sick by the way, I noticed you removed the rocker panels too I'm Probaly gonna do that when I lift it. But mines white so the holes where the clips go looks worse on mine than your black one.
should I just get some of those adjustable camber bolts? Or do I need a specific one for a lift, if you got any links or names to any that would help a lot
If you could post some pics of your explorer on here too that would be good, so I can see what the ride hieght looks like. Are you happy with your two inch lift? The look, the ride?
Thanks this was a lot of help, my dad has an f-150 and just replaced his shocks and my brothers explorer has rancho 2 inch lift shocks. So I'm gonna look at them side by side and measure to see if there the same length and mounting
My steering wheel before had a tilt to it and it pulled right even after an alignment but I think it's because my current tires have uneven wear. How do I fix this?
I know there are many forums about this but not all of them are giving me the direct answers that I need. I recently purchased some 31x10.5s and I know they'll fit now but I plan on doing a 2 inch lift with shackle and coil spacer. Will a 4 wheel alignment be needed or just a front alignment...
As shown in the picture, this is under the ash tray and stereo, where many say the module is but it's just wires and wires no box. There is a black plastic piece with foam in this area, could it be covering the module or is that for something else? Mine is a xlt if that helps any bit since I...
Hello everyone I have some questions about the first gen keyless entry. I've done lots of research with explorers and f-150's on how to program the keyless entry. But I've had some mixed information some say the module is under the dash other say it's in the jack compartment in the hatch. Mine...
Hey I have a question I would post a new thread but I couldn't for the life ignore me find out how to do it. I have a 1993 Explorer xlt and I was told by the last owner that it had keyless entry that worked and he broke the remote. So I bought a new one, I watched videos where you turn the key...

i recently just purchased some bronco II wheels for my 93 explorer. I know these have clear coats on them. They look pretty good for the price(65$) but would polishing them with a polisher and car polish, and waxing them help reduce some clear coat oxidation and bring back some shine? Because I...
I was on the official website, also it is a 4wd. I looked around for wheels and I think I might be purchasing the bronco II/ranger wheels from the earlier models, that look similar to these. I'm sure you know which ones I'm talking about. It would be easier, cheaper, and I like the alumimum look...
I have a stock hieght 93 explorer, with stock wheels(15x7) and stock tires(24 I believe). I want to get some soft 8 glossy black wheels. I saw they make 15x7's but what I read it seemed like they were for cars. Would I have to get bigger size(15x8's) and bigger tires? And if so what size tires...
