Annual Truck Haven California Run 2006 Feb 4-5 2006

If work permits a trip out then I'm in. Is there a place to put a Toyhauler? I'll bring the Quad and anyone that wants a turn on it is welcome. Honda 650 Rincon. Chris- It can get a bit chilly out there in the winter so pack some warm gear for sleeping. My Buddy has some land out near...

    best welder to learn on

my bad- it's just that people "recommend" a welder by calling it an Arc welder-this leaves the recommendation a little open, don't you think? It's the same as "get your self a locker". You can still get the rods: //www.jwharris.com/welref/techguide/misc_items/arc_goug/

    best welder to learn on

Ok. Mig is Arc. Arc is electricity. Stick is Arc. Arc is electricity. Tig is Arc Arc is electricity. Spindle is correct- If you really want to start with learning how metal reacts an O/A set up is where you start. You weld with that and you are good to go. Mig, Stick, tig all follow...

    best welder to learn on

http://www.weldingmart.com/Qstore/p002054.htm This comes with the gas regulater so all you have to do is buy a tank. As mentioned a 220v is a better choice because you get twice the welder for just a bit more money. But at 370.00 this 115v is a sweet deal. You can do heavier material, you...

    (4) This section shall apply to all motor vehicles. if you go to the site and click on Colorado this is the last line in the penal code, so I guess you do have to comply with CO's rules.

    Looking at buying a bike.

Ok ya can't put those two bikes in the same sentence :D The Rebel is a 250cc death trap!!! I only say this because it can't get out of it's own way. If you weigh about 50lbs, maybe this is a good bike but otherwise I find those bikes dangerous for anyone over 125lbs. I borrowed a friend's for a...

    Looking at buying a bike.

Even the 750s have a low seat height. Just keep sitting on the bikes until you find the one that fits. The power wont be a problem. Does the Army require the riding school? My dad was AF and for me to be able to ride on base I had to take a week long riding course. Of course I hated it at the...

    Looking at buying a bike.

Japanese 750s are plenty big. Some may suggest a bike in the 650 range or even smaller. My first bike was a 87 Shadow 700 but I did have some experience with dirt bikes. Damn I'm gettin' old! What really sucks about bikes is that you can't really test drive them like cars. Go to every dealer and...

    Billing question on brakes

While the wheels are off, the front calipers are pulled and the slides are greased. This schedule seems to keep the warped-rotor devils at bay. I have used EP-moly wheel bearing grease for this service, but changed to a waterproof synthetic at the last service. Same on the steering, BTW. The...

    Billing question on brakes

You don't have any recourse since you already signed off on the work order as well as paid, unless it states they used MC and something else is on your truck. As everyone has mentioned that's about right for having a shop do the job but now that the pain is over, keep a religious schedule on...

Anyone use this compact metal bender?

he pretty much said that it's just a pain in the ass but it is cheap. Looking at the 2 links you listed I would go with the Tools Plus- seems like a better Co. to deal with. Not a big fan of HF because the store here is useless.

Anyone use this compact metal bender?

DeRocha, I've been in the market for a bender as well and got some input from a Weding Forum I belong to: This is the quality of the HF model that was posted.
