d35 ttb front end with coils and radius arms- $125obo needs gone through, think its 3.73 gear 4wd coil buckets- $50 4.0 motor-somewhat complete(never heard run, needed fuel pump,had higher miles) $225obo A4LD 4x4 trans- fluid is a little dark,probably needs rebuilt - $125obo also...

Woolys is repoened and Wheeling in the country is also reopened. A few guys from my local club went to golden mountain last weekend and said it was some good wheelin... Mine is a few weeks from being done, I cant wait and get out and do some wheeling. Vozar

The durango would probably spin off the line, use the AWD to your advantage. I say stall the convertor up a bit and launch that puppy!!!!:D

No it doesnt delay when shifting, All i really use is 1st 2nd and reverse, it gets trailered everywhere. I do abuse it alot, but it has always held up. This is a tough little tranny. It is due for a fluid change, but i dont really thing that will fix the problem.....

Hey Brooklyn, so on the 5r55e you said that 1st and reverse band arent adjustable. Lately ive lost engine braking in first but i still have it in second. Any suggestions or any way to adjust first gear engine breaking?

Im running 1310's and never had a issue,ohh and a crossover 1310/1330 on my rear drive shaft.

Some 60's use shims and some use crush sleaves to set pinion preload. U can go with the baseline and get luck and not have to shim it. I set up gears alot at work and 75% of the time get lucky and not have to re-shim it. Every axle is different.

Building a 44 is just delaying the inevidable. By the time u have the put all that money in the 44 U could have had a stock or built 60. I had over $2,000 in my D44.I Broke 7 or 8 44 stock shafts and joints. I put chromos and Ox joints in it and kept breaking hubs. Dont get me wrong i am lead...
