I understand that, but it doesn't mean it can't work. Ever see a 4V Volvo head on a 2.3? A Cleveland (canted valve) head on a Windsor?

Truck was free, parts were free, so I figured why not. I just can't find any dimensions on the 4.0L.

I've searched to no end, so I am asking here. Does the 4.0 OHV share any similarities to the 3.8? I have a split-port top end that I would like to swap onto the 4.0 if it will fit. I am having trouble finding specs and I'm wondering where the increased displacement comes from if they share...
