    a nice place for your amp

    Doesn't look too bad. But judges would dock points for cooling. as heat rises and would become trapped in the heat sinks agianst the amp. doesn't matter how the amp is set. You could add a fan to the bottom blowing on the bottom. Tim

    CatBack Advice V6 Sohc

    I've got the Flowmaster cat-back it gives good sound with out being too loud. Mine had the rear pipe hanger in the wrong place so I had it rewelded. It now tucks up really nice and tight to the bottom of the quarter panel. I think it is 2.5" Tim

    33's on 3 inch lift

    Thanks for the good advice on tire size. I am looking to get larger this spring. I already have shackles/TT. I may just go with 33s and see where it sits then go with either trimming or BL if I need it. Tim

    Depend on what you mean Mach system. the mach system wasn't made available to the explorer in those years. Do you mean the explorer factory sub system. I have yet to see an adapter for this system. I have alway had to omit the factory sub and rewire the complete system on these explorers...

    Stock Subwoofer won't connect to aftermarket headunit?

    When adding a head to a explorer system with a factory Sub you need to rewire the whole system, and omit the sub. Something with the factory system will not let a aftermarket work with a sub system. They don't even make an aftermarket adapter for the factory sub system. Tim

    Sony used to have some really good stuff. but there xplode series sucks. too much hype but doesn't produce. I guess the stuff is ok for entry level stuff. For high sound quality there is much better for the money. Tim

    SAS front, what to do on the rear??????

    Ask a simple question and get BS. As far as I know there is only the superlift either springs or blocks. Nothing over a 3-4". I am wanting to know what options do I have with lifting the rear to match the front SAS. Tim

    what a difference brands make !

    I have heard just about all the major brands of car audio from MTX to Focal to JL to the fleamarket stuff(read crap) I personaly like my JL Audio. JL Audio took me to a USACi Sound quility world championship in 2002. Tim
