when i replaced my O2 sensor i started up and it ran rough for a few seconds, then i hit the gas and it was running really rough, then finally started running fine, after that i got back in and hit the gas......after the RPM's hit about 3500 the engine is rough again.....almost like its jumping...

are there any visual signs of a bad O2? i just got one of them out, it looks a bit charcoal colored but im sure thats normal, are there any ways to tell by looking at it if it is bad or not?
